The Daughters of Charity’s charism is to serve God in the persons who are poor.

We are called to not only support the tangible needs of those living in poverty but also work to change the societal systems which make it difficult for persons to pull themselves out of poverty.

In collaboration with our Sister Province in the United States, The Daughters of Charity established an Advocacy and Social Justice Committee (ASJC) whose charge is to inform our sisters and leadership when actions are needed. Daughters of Charity raise our voices for those who have no voice or whose voice is so muted in the world, their needs are not heard.
